Te Ros !

8+
Dutch spoken

a musical fable for everybody from eight years and older

What happens to a man when he is given a horse that makes him all-powerful in war? What happens when a man and a horse become the best of friends? What happens to the world when the war doesn't end? What happens when the man falls in love with a woman who wants peace? What happens when the king decides that the horse must die in the cause of peace?

Te Ros! retells the legend of The Horse Bayard and the Four Amon Brothers in a spectacular game involving music and video together with the famous epic of medieval chivalry. A boy band made up of the magician Mugis and the Three Minstrels put on a variety show of stories, songs of the troubadors and acrobatic feats to accompany Renaud through his mixture of emotions and military trials and tribulations together with his wonder horse, Bayard.

Te Ros! is a coproduction of Zefiro Torna and Pantalone in collaboration with the Comité du Cheval Bayard in the town of Termonde, CC Belgica and Klara. The show was first created on the occasion of the Cheval Bayard procession on May 30, 2010, an event that takes place once every 10 years.
